...peer feedback
Dan proved to be a reliable member of the group (consistently following through with his part of the work) and his flexibility made him easy to work with. He was also one of the group members who took the initiative to keep in touch with the rest of the group throughout the project process, even though he wasn’t the project manager. This made it easier for me (the project manager) to have an active member of the group who was willing to do a little extra to make sure the project came out the best it could be. On the other hand, we argued quite a bit about the direction of the project -- even when it was obvious the team supported my idea. [Instructor's comment: I would like to hear more about the way you handled this conflict. Neither of you seems very clear in your feedback what caused this and how/if it was resolved.] |

...peer feedback Dan was always free to help anybody and was always available, whether it is by cell phone or by email. He was our main editor for this project. He worked on editing the White Paper and the protocol. The quality of his work was also very good. Dan seemed to pay attention and class and understood what each document needed to show in order to achieve the best project. |

Dan was indispensable for his editing, which he did on almost the entire project. He also helped to create the first white paper and had a hand in the final copy of almost every other paper. He personally came and helped me a number of times when I was struggling to word my paper properly. Truly a great helper who deserves more than points than I can give him here. |

Instructor's response to your performance review: Way to turn things around! Your teammates' reviews indicated that they really appreciate your dedication and your contributions to the project. Keep this up. As two of your peers said, though, you need to continue to work on creating your best first drafts. I know this team has the right pieces to produce an outstanding final project. |
