Earth System Science courses - These are general education, four credit, lab courses oriented for the non-science major. The course titles are ESDI 2600 - Managing the Earth's Resources (springs) and ESDI 2610 - The Hazardous Earth (falls).

• Website that accompanies the text which is Environmental Geology (3rd) - Keller
• RESOURCES FOR EARTH SYSTEMS SCIENCE - this site at Central Michigan is one of the best earth science links resources. Please use it!
• Gemstone Project - this is a project that will be done in lab.
  
• Exploring the Environment - a series of PBLs on environmental issues. Both courses will use units from the project.
• Who is hunting whom here?

 

• The National Park Service - project on National Parks - hmmm maybe Dr. Turski is trying to tell us something. He is often very subtle ;-)
• The Department of the Interior - this one must be a trick of some kind because these are outdoor type classes.
