Introduction
I joined the Plymouth State faculty in 1995 after completing my doctoral studies in Counselor Education at the University of Virginia. I have worked in public schools as a teacher, guidance counselor, and director of guidance. I am the Coordinator of the Counselor Education M.Ed. program. I became a National Certified Counselor (NCC) in 1994 and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in 1999. I provide counseling services to students at the Counseling and Human Relations Center at PSC. My current research and writing focus on leadership and advocacy strategies for Professional School Counselors.
