Responsible for the management of all aspects of the MBA program, offered on-campus at Plymouth and at the six external sites of Conway, Keene, Hanover, Manchester, Portsmouth and Rochester. Responsibilities included budgeting, program staffing and delivery, scheduling, marketing and promotion, recruitment, admissions, student counseling and advising, resolution of grievances of students and faculty, awarding of scholarships and assistantships, approving exceptions to existing policy, supervision of graduate office staff, and serving as a liaison between the graduate office and the Office of the Dean as well as the Department of Business.
Accomplishments included (1) negotiation and implementation of the PSC MBA program's first industry contract through the development of an educational partnership with Cabletron Systems, Inc., based in Rochester, NH; (2) the expansion of the MBA program into three new sites in the seacoast region; (3) the establishment of an Internet presence for the MBA program; (4) completion of the first comprehensive survey of current PSC MBA students with the results used for program enhancement; and (5) provision of the leadership necessary to integrate efforts of the Business Department faculty and College administration resulting in the achievement of first-time professional accreditation of the PSC MBA program through departmental accreditation by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). Returned full-time to the faculty in 1997 in order to spend more time with my family and newborn daughter.
